The Admissions Authority for the school is the Governing Body and they are responsible for taking all admission decisions for children transferring to us in Year 5 and for joining the school during the academic year.

Somerset County Council co-ordinates all admissions to Year 5, so if you are applying for a place in Year 5 in September 2017 click here to go the Council's website.

To apply for a Minehead Middle School place during the year, you will need to complete our School Admission Form along with an Ethnic and Language Form and either send them to us or drop them into school. We will then contact you to arrange an appointment for a tour of the school and a meeting with our Headteacher.

We hold an Open Evening for new and prospective parents during October. There is also a parents' meeting for all new parents of children starting in September 2017, which this year is being held on Tuesday 4th July 2017 at 6.30pm. In addition, Year 4 children from our feeder First Schools pay us a half-day visit in the spring term, to help familiarise them with our school. We also hold 'New Parents' meetings for Year 4 parents from our feeder schools, early in the summer term.
